The Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (the Act) provides a framework for regulating health professions to ensure the public is protected from harm when receiving health services. This discussion document discusses the criteria for regulating health professions and seeks comment on proposed revised criteria. Submissions close 5 March 2010.
