The Epidemiology of Meningococcal Disease in New Zealand in 2004

The 2004 meningococcal disease annual report provides detailed information on the incidence and distribution of meningococcal disease, the basis for diagnosis, clinical features and outcome and analysis of the group B meningococcal disease epidemic strain. The report was prepared by ESR for the Ministry of Health using disease notification and laboratory data and includes detailed tables, graphs and analysis by region, ethnicity, and age for 2004, with some comparative historical data and comment.
