Cancer Control Council

The Cancer Control Council is established under section 11 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 to provide an independent, sustainable focus for cancer control.

Composition
This Council will be established within the next six months.

The Council will comprise a maximum of up to eight persons, including the Chair and Deputy Chair. All members are appointed by the Minister of Health.
