In February 2002 the draft strategy of Healthy Action – Healthy Eating: Oranga Pumau – Oranga Kai was published by the Ministry of Health and released for consultation.
The draft strategy aimed to open discussion on key issues, priorities and actions to improve nutrition, increase physical activity and reduce obesity in order to inform the development of a national strategy.
This ‘Summary of Feedback’ presents the views of those who contributed to the consultation by attending the public meetings or through written submissions.
