Organisation structure
This section provides information about the Ministry's organisation structure.
Directorates
- The Ministry's directorate structure is designed to ensure the Ministry can lead improved health and disability system performance, and contribute to healthier New Zealanders.
Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Supports the Director-General of Health, and focuses on strategic management, corporate governance, and organisation performance.
Chief Advisors
- The Ministry has health professional and advisory roles that provide clinical and technical advice to the Minister and the Ministry of Health. Chief Advisors are leaders in their fields, and represent the Ministry of Health in the health and disability sector.
