New Zealand Health Innovation Awards


The New Zealand Health Innovation Awards recognise the success and contribution made by the country's most innovative health providers. Individuals, groups and organisations working across the health sector including public health, accident and emergency care, general practice, community care, primary care and rehabilitation are eligible to enter.

Applications are invited from groups and organisations within the health, disability and rehabilitation sectors.

Hauora Māori Scholarships


Applications for the Ministry of Health Hauora Māori Scholarships 2009 closed on Friday 10 April 2009.

The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students to undertake or complete an NZQA accredited course in health and disability studies, in order to build Māori workforce capacity in the sector.

The Whānau Ora Awards seek to promote successful models of service delivery, or initiatives that increase whānau health and wellbeing by building on the strengths and assets of whānau and Māori communities.
