Applying for Designation as an Auditing Agency
Information for audit agencies applying for designation to audit services under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001
Under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001, hospitals, rest homes and homes for people with disabilities must be certified. As part of the certification process a provider must be audited by an auditing agency designated by the Director-General of Health.
The following document is intended for auditing agencies interested in applying for designation to audit health and disability services under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001.
