14 Aug 09: Maternal and Child Oral Health - Systematic Review and Analysis: a report for the New Zealand Ministry of Health
This report looks at the evidence for pre and post-natal factors that affect the future oral health of children.

2 Mar 09: Survey looks into oral health of New Zealanders
About 2000 adults and 1000 children are expected to take part in the 2009 New Zealand Oral Health Survey that is being conducted from March to November 2009.

17 Feb 09: 2007 Oral Health data now available
Data for 2007 on school dental services for age 5 and year 8 children and adolescent oral health service utilisation is now available in the Resources section.

10 Jun 08: Ministry of Health statement on amalgam & other dental filling materials (media release)
Dr Robin Whyman, chief dental officer, said the Ministry of Health's positon on the use of amalgam for dental fillings had not changed.
