This document summarises the feedback the Ministry received on the Review of the Regulation of Human Tissue and Tissue-based Therapies Discussion Document released for public consultation in 2004. The feedback from this public consultation process provides important and useful information that fed into the preparation of advice to the Government on the new legislative framework. Through this summary, text in italics at the beginning of sections provides a summary of the Discussion Document proposals and a list of the consultation questions from the Discussion Document is in Appendix 2.
