Summary
This report documents the outcomes of the sector-based Working Party established by the Electives Team at the Ministry of Health to identify and recommend ways of addressing the current disincentives that prevent District Health Boards (DHBs) from maximising elective service delivery. It will assist Funding and Provider Arms of DHBs as well as staff working at the interface between primary and secondary care.
