Cancer Control in New Zealand

Establishing Regional Cancer Networks in New Zealand

Establishing regional networks is a priority in the New Zealand Cancer Control Strategy Action Plan. Networks will provide a formal structure to improve the coordination of care for patients between cancer services. Since March 2006 meetings and workshops have been held in various regions to discuss how a network would function in the respective areas, and to develop terms of reference for each network.

At the request of the stakeholders this section will host presentations from meetings and workshops, so that all available information can be shared. If your network wishes to have information on this page, please contact Simon Bidwell or Marjan van Waardenberg (the Ministry's email address format is firstname_lastname@moh.govt.nz).
