The release of the Child and Youth Mortality Review Committee’s Fourth Report to the Minister of Health: Reporting mortality 2002–2005 is a time to reflect on the work of the Review Committee and to consider how the Ministry of Health is responding to the recommendations that are made in the Report.
This Response Paper outlines the Ministry of Health's response to the recommendations made by the Child and Youth Mortality Review Committee in their Fourth Report to the Minister of Health. There are thirteen recommendations that are made in the Committee's Report and the Response Paper addresses the actions that the MInisrty of Health is undertaking in each of the recommendation areas.
