Fourth Quarterly Report: 2006-2007 DHB Crown Funding Agreement

Summary

DHBs reported on 17 Indicators of DHB Performance (IDP) in quarter four 2006/07. The DHBs’ performances were varied for this quarter, though all DHBs met all requirements for four IDPs (where applicable), and DHBs were very close to all meeting all requirements for seven other IDPs.

This report also provides assessments of DHBs’ IDP performances during 2006/07. For ease of comparison, this information is shown graphically. It appears that DHBs have, in general, met their IDP targets, and that they are performing reasonably well.

DHBs were also required to provide additional reports against the Crown Funding Agreements (CFA) or associated variations, if appropriate. In the fourth quarter 2006/07, there were 34 additional reporting requirements. However, not all these reporting requirements were common to all DHBs.

The Ministry assessed each deliverable and provided feedback to each DHB. This included, where appropriate, a commendation, or a request for further information where a report was deemed unsatisfactory. This report was produced after DHBs had fulfilled the additional reporting requirements.
