Summary

The Analysis of Submissions provides a summary of the content of submissions and range of views expressed in consultation meetings and written submissions, in response to the consultation document.

Overall the response to the draft action plan was positive with submitters generally agreeing that the draft action plan reflected the intent of Te Tāhuhu – Improving Mental Health 2005–2015: The Second New Zealand Mental Health and Addiction Plan.

The Ministry of Health thanks all those who attended the consultation meetings and made written submissions on the draft action plan. Your input has been invaluable in assisting the Ministry of Health to develop the final action plan.
