Health Impact Assessment in New Zealand

HIA Reference Group

The Health Impact Assessment Support Unit's Reference Group was set up in March 2008 to advise the Unit on its strategic direction and the application of Health Impact Assessment in central government policy making processes.

It will act as a 'critical friend'; debating and testing ideas in taking health impact assessment forward in New Zealand. The membership includes independent technical experts to representatives of central government organisations with an interest in taking forward health impact assessment.
