Residential Care Line is a national service that aims to help people aged 65 years and over, their family/whanau, or carers considering rest home or long stay hospital care, or who are already in care. Information available includes how to get help to stay at home, short term relief care, caregivers, as well as the systems around long term residential care, including the residential care subsidy.

SuperGold Card (www.supergold.govt.nz)
The SuperGold Card replaces both the Community Services Card and NZ Super Card currently issued to New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension recipients.

It is a discounts and concessions card issued free to all eligible seniors and veterans in recognition of the contribution they have made, and continue to make to New Zealand society.

It also allows its holders access to a wide range of business discounts and facilitates easy access to government entitlements and local authority services and concessions.
