Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003

Registering a New Profession


At the time of its enactment, the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance (HPCA) Act 2003 applied to 15 registration authorities. At the same time, the Act contained provisions enabling the scope of the Act to be extended to cover other practitioners and professions that provide health services.
