2007/08 Annual Omnibus Report on Indicators of DHB Performance (IDP)Date of publication: December 2008
Executive Summary
This Health Report provides an annual omnibus view of District Health Boards’ (DHB) IDP performance for the financial year 2007/08. As IDPs are not reported on in all quarters this report presents an overview of IDP performance for 2007/08. The supplementary appendices provide an omnibus of all Quarterly Reports on Indicators of DHB Performance for 2007/08.
The purpose of this Health Report is to provide you with the Ministry of Health’s (Ministry) assessments of DHB funder, governance, and some provider arm reported IDP Annual performances in 2007/08, together with financial performance for the respective quarters.
The Ministry assesses each deliverable, and provides feedback to each DHB. This includes, where appropriate, a commendation, or a request for further information where a report is not deemed satisfactory. Where a DHB’s report demonstrates performance issues or risks, a resolution plan is required, along with confirmation that the DHB intends to implement that plan.
