Diseases and Vaccines



This section contains information about diseases that are vaccine preventable and the vaccines that prevent them.
The diseases below have been divided into two sections:

  • Diseases covered by the Schedule are those on the National Immunisation Schedule and eligible people can receive them for free.

  • Diseases not covered by the Schedule are those not on the National Immunisation Schedule and people must pay to receive them.
