Summary
This paper, part of the Pacific Health and Disability Plan Review series, explores factors that influence the quality of care of Pacific people in New Zealand, including how perceptions and beliefs are instrumental in Pacific peoples access to and expectations of the health system. It also considers how specific tools such as the Improving Quality framework can be an opportunity for effecting improvements in quality of care for Pacific people.
