Leading for Outcomes

www.leadingforoutcomes.org.nz

We are currently making some changes to the Leading For Outcomes website - these changes will have taken effect by the 1st of June. Please return to the site then to see the updates, and to continue using the site for your general information. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Leading for Outcomes is a framework to enable anyone working in the health and disability sector to step back and see their role in the bigger task of creating healthy New Zealanders.

The Government’s four main health and disability outcomes – Better Health, Reduced Inequalities, Better Participation and Independence, and Trust and Security– are the goals we are trying to reach.

All activities in the health and disability sector should contribute directly or indirectly to achieving these goals.

Leading for Outcomes shows how we might progress step-by-step toward these goals, toward the desired outcome of healthy New Zealanders.

As part of describing this pathway to achieving our aims, Leading for Outcomes encourages evidence-based prevention and health-care, and ongoing measurement of the impact of our interventions.
