Maternity Services Strategic Advisory Group

Purpose


The Ministry of Health in partnership with the District Health Boards, is to undertake the development of a strategic vision for maternity services in New Zealand, and established the Maternity Services Strategic Advisory Group to assist with this task.

The role of the Maternity Services Strategic Advisory Group is to:
  • take a strategic view across all parts of the maternity sector, and provide a variety of views and experience for the Ministry to draw on
  • give advice on implementation issues and priorities
  • assist with sector consultation on key issues


Terms of Reference


The Terms of Reference will be available after they have been finalised at the next meeting on Wednesday 27 February 2008.

The members of the Maternity Services Strategic Advisory Group collectively bring clinical, research and policy expertise, as well as consumer experience. The members of the Strategic Advisory Group are:
