Medical Training BoardNews and Updates News On 6 August 2009 the Minister of Health announced the disestablishment of the Medical Training Board and the establishment of the Clinical Training Agency Board. The functions of the Medical Training Board will be amalgamated with the functions of the Clinical Training Agency Board. 18 Aug 2009: Foundations of Excellence: Building Infrastructure for Medical Education and Training In September 2008 the Medical Training Board (MTB) released a series of documents on the medical workforce and on the need to achieve integration and coordination in medical education and training.
