Men's Health Innovations Fund

The Men's Health Innovations Fund has been established to support community based men's health initiatives. Funding will be given to projects with new and innovative approaches to improving men's health in communities across the country.

Applications for the fund closed on 10 October 2008. 53 proposals were received covering a wide range of approaches to supporting men’s health – the quality of the proposals was generally of a high standard.

The assessment process has been completed and recommendations have been made to Ministry of Health management to approve funding for 11 proposals.

Organisations which submitted proposals should be notified of the outcome within the next couple of weeks.
