Careerforce


Careerforce (previously known as CISSITO) are managing the administration of grants for people to enter level four certificate training for mental health support work. New Zealand Guidelines Group


The New Zealand Guidelines Group are managing a project which is funded via public health. This project, The Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Collaborative, involves emergency departments, mental health and Māori health working together to improve service access for people who need assistance through emergency departments. 11 DHBs are participating in this project. It is aimed at service users who present with self harm, or may be at risk of self harm, to emergency departments. Platform


Platform are undertaking a workforce analysis of the mental health and addiction NGO sector. They have completed a report called NGO-IT which is available through Platform. The second phase of the project will focus on detailed sampling of workforce issues for the NGO sector. For more information contact ceo@platform.org.nz
