Primary Health CarePrimary Health Care Advisory Council Purpose The Primary Health Care Advisory Council was established in August 2008 to provide strategic and implementation advice to the Ministry of Health and District Health Boards on opportunities, gaps, risks and barriers to the implementation of the Primary Health Care Strategy. It is also intended to provide a forum for the Ministry and DHBs to engage with leadership from across the primary health care sector to ensure that the vision of the strategy is realised.
