Summary

The purpose of the sector consultation analysis is to accurately record consultation feedback, identify common themes in responses and reflect on whether the themes signalled gaps in the initial Key Directions policy consultation document.

Key findings

Most of the feedback received came through the consultation workshops. 1171 statements were transcribed from the workshops and questionnaire responses. 21 formal submissions were received. There was agreement with the overall objectives and logic of the consultation document. Most suggestions for change focused on improving clarity or inclusiveness in the document.

The final Key Directions document reflects all suggestions for change and can be found on this website as Primary Health Care Strategy: Key Directions for the Information Environment.
