Software for NGO batched data entry

Larger NGOs can create batched XML files and electronically send their data to the Ministry of Health using secure file transfer protocols. This is the same process used by DHBs to report their data to PRIMHD.

This option offers the most flexibility for NGO users – they can submit PRIMHD XML extract files of mental health and addiction data sourced from their in-house information systems.

  The principal reference for all providers who submit data to PRIMHD; business and data quality analysts involved in supporting and maintaining the PRIMHD collection; and vendors and software suppliers who are developing or delivering the technical capability to DHBs or NGOs. It describes the electronic file format used to send data to PRIMHD, including layout, error messages and business rules used to validate the data fields within the PRIMHD records file.

  These are designed to test DHB and NGO compliance with the PRIMHD File Specification, to ensure that submitted data complies with the PRIMHD data set, code set and business rules. The scripts can be downloaded as a PDF or Word Document.
• 10023.1 PRIMHD Data Process Standard v2 (PDF, 392 KB)
  Describes the workflow and processes for PRIMHD data gathered during the care of the consumer (from referral and admission through to discharge), and how the PRIMHD data set and code set relates to the different record types during these processes.
• 10023.2 PRIMHD Data Set v2.1 (Word, 1.42 MB)
  Represents the entire set of data elements that will be collected and stored within the PRIMHD records.
• 10023.2 PRIMHD Code Set v2.1 (Word, 1.65 MB)
  A collection of common codes that are required by specific data elements within the data set.
