The Ministry of Health funds national social marketing services that use the mass media in strategic campaigns to raise public awareness about gambling harm, to encourage community discussion on the role of gambling in the community, and to support aware and resilient communities.

Specific to problem gambling, the Health Sponsorship Council, has developed a campaign entitled “Kiwi Lives – Our Families, Our Communities, Our Problem”
