Key Projects and Programmes - Cardiac Improvement in Surgery Pathway

Clinical system improvement work to develop and improve the Cardiothoracic (CT) patient journey. To improve access to CT surgery, improve CT surgery productivity and redesign a whole system approach that delivers high standards of care and patient experiences. This work is in collaboration and support to the National Cardiac Surgery Clinical Network. The five cardiac centre’s involved are: Auckland DHB, Waikato DHB, Capital and Coast DHB, Canterbury DHB and Southland DHB.
