Key Projects and Programmes - NHS Partnership

The partnership with the NHS offers the Ministry of Health the following programmes, services and products:

  • Creating leaders of large scale transformational change – this programme is aimed at CEOs, General Managers and Policy people from DHBs, ACC etc.
  • The Productive Community – there will be three test sites initially within New Zealand.
  • Building Capacity and Capability through an improvement leaders programme – This is aimed at lead quality and safety people to develop their improvement knowledge and skills as the foundation to improvement activity.
  • Building Quality and Value based on pathways and performance criteria for high volume conditions – based on the concept that by focusing on a limited range of high volume conditions the New Zealand health sector can make an impact on improving the quality of care for their patients.
  • Experience based design programme - aimed at individuals and teams who are interested in using patient and staff experience to improve healthcare services.
