RMO (Resident Medical Officer) Commission

The Director-General of Health has established a Director-General’s Commission on the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) workforce (the Commission). The focus of the Commission is on the RMO workforce in the context of meeting New Zealand’s future medical workforce needs.

The Commission acknowledges the need for comprehensive and appropriate training and support for the RMO workforce to ensure a relevant and valuable learning experience.
