Summary

This booklet is part of a suite of resources that have been produced for use by the Technical Assistance Programme Facilitators (TAP Facilitators) to deliver their TAP workshop activities to small drinking water supplies. The booklets are supplemented by reference notes, and powerpoint presentations to be used by the TAP Facilitators as they work collaboratively with drinking water supplies participating in the Drinking Water Assistance Programme.

Sampling and Monitoring for Small Drinking-water Supplies provides information about the supply of safe drinking-water to small water supplies serving fewer than 5000 people. It describes methods for checking that drinking-water is safe. It includes sampling methods, use of simple instruments, and basic telemetry.
