The Section 88 Maternity Notice was implemented on 1 July 2002.

Variation to the Section 88 Maternity Notice

The Ministry of Health (the “Ministry”) has issued a variation (the “Variation”) to the section 88 Maternity Services Notice (the “Notice”).

The Variation to the Notice was gazetted on 3 November 2005, and came into force on 16 December 2005.

The Variation adjusted prices paid to authorised practitioners under Part D of the Notice. The new prices set out in the Variation apply to all services with a date of service on or after 16 December 2005.

The amended prices for maternity services are listed as GST exclusive.
