The Ministry of Health, as the Minister of Health’s agent, monitors the performance of the Health Funding Authority (HFA). This is the Ministry’s fourth report on HFA performance for the 1999/2000 financial year. The report analyses HFA performance in relation to performance expectations outlined in the Funding Agreement between the HFA and the Minister of Health. Key Funding Agreement expectations include:
- achievement of performance measures
- delivery of agreed service coverage
- assurance of sound financial management and performance.
