This Screening Programmes’ Quality Framework (SPQF) stems from the National Screening Unit’s (NSU) Strategic Plan 2003-2008. It supports the vision and strategic outcomes, and provides a structure for quality activities under the
“quality improvement” area for action in the Strategic Plan.

The Quality Framework is a key response by the NSU to the Ministry of Health report Improving Quality (IQ Approach).
