The purpose of this report is to ensure that school suicide prevention practices are informed by the evidence and appropriate safety considerations.

This report examines effectiveness and safety issues associated with school-based student-focused suicide prevention programmes and develops a set of criteria which schools can use to evaluate external providers of such programmes.
