Summary

The aim of GeoHealth 2006 is to promote the exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences in the application of Health Geographical Information Sciences and Systems (GIS) to public health research and practice.

The conference will bring together people from many different fields in the broad area of public health, and follows on from the first two highly successful conferences GeoHealth2002: supporting decision making in health, and GeoHealth 2004: surveillance and intervention.

This publication contains the proceedings from the GeoHealth 2006: Methods in Practice conference.
