The National Ambulance Sector Office is a joint arrangement between ACC and the Ministry of Health. The Group Manager reports to senior managers in both ACC and the Ministry of Health although they are employed by and based at the Ministry of Health.

The National Ambulance Sector Office is responsible for planning and funding emergency services that are effective, efficient, of high quality and sustainable in line with the New Zealand Ambulance Service Strategy, 2009. The role of the Group Manager is to manage the interface between ACC and the Ministry of Health to achieve an integrated, national perspective to ambulance services, as well as provide strategic leadership.

As the successful applicant you must have highly developed strategic and analytical skills. You will have outstanding leadership skills at a senior management level with the ability to deal with complexity and deliver strategic management initiatives. You will have exceptional relationship management skills and experience of working collaboratively across agencies. You will promote a quality services focus and foster a culture of high performance within the team.

This position is fulltime, permanent and located in Wellington.
