Service Planner

Health & Disability Systems Strategy Directorate

Are you comfortable dealing with senior clinicians and managers, as well as consumers and community leaders?

Are you experienced in service planning, and has your career seen you manage key operational and strategic challenges across the public and/or private sectors?

If the answers to the above are yes, then this new and exciting role could be for you.

As a member of the newly established Health Services Planning Unit, you will have a pivotal role to play in ensuring that service plans developed at regional and national levels are congruent with effective and efficient modern models of care, are evidence-based, are patient-centered and reflect resource priorities and availability.

You will have strong project management skills and experience, with a particular emphasis on the planning of health services. You will have well developed interpersonal skills, have the ability to develop effective relationships at both senior and operational levels, and be an excellent written and verbal communicator.

You will have a relevant health or management tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, a track record of successful service planning, and outstanding communication skills in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.

This is a full time permanent position. Secondment opportunities are welcome.
