As a confident clinical leader with superb relationship building skills, you will work across the Ministry and the health sector to ensure that appropriate structures, processes, tools and capabilities are directed to delivering plans that support the optimum deployment of available resources to meet the health service needs of New Zealanders.

Look forward to influential, high-level involvement in the health sector, as you provide clinical leadership and support to health service planning across the Ministry and the sector. You’ll liaise, lead, support, research and be actively involved in overseeing and driving a wide range of health service planning activity, and the associated formation of clinical networks at regional and national levels.

You will be a current practising clinician, with a track record of clinical leadership, and a clear understanding how to lead large scale change. This role in the newly established Health Services Planning Unit provides you with the opportunity to combine clinical practice with a senior clinical leadership role at a national level. This is a part time permanent position. Secondment opportunity would be welcome.
