Do you want to improve New Zealand’s cancer outcomes? Do you enjoy a busy role and enjoy working with the health sector?

I am seeking an experienced senior analyst for one year to replace a member of the Cancer Team whilst on parental leave. The position holder will lead and manage high profile cancer programme projects. They will also provide critical support to the Team’s manager by utilising their project management and management expertise to support the Team to successfully deliver on the Cancer Team business plan and National Cancer Control Programme. The person will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Cancer Control Steering Group and will act as Manager, when required.

You will already be an experienced senior analyst with strong project planning and project management expertise. You will have a demonstrated ability to effectively work within a team and to develop and maintain relationships with professionals from diverse disciplines. A practical ‘can do’ approach and flexibility is critical. You will also need to demonstrate an ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

This is an outstanding opportunity to support the Cancer Team in implementing the Cancer Control Strategy.

This position is part time, a 0.6 Full Time Equivalent, 12 month fixed term position located in Wellington.
