(Senior) Performance Management Analyst X 3

The Ministry is currently seeking to appoint Senior Performance Management Analysts to join the National Screening Unit team. Position are full time and located in Wellington.

Your focus will be managing a portfolio of contracts and leading specific screening projects on behalf of the National Screening Unit. You will be effective in communicating with a diverse range of people and have the ability to develop highly productive working relationships with others across the Ministry of Health, with public health provider organisations, and other planners and funders (including NGOs, Māori providers, Pacific providers and District Health Boards). You will have a good understanding of public health approaches and/or screening, what is required to support provider organisations to be high performing and capable of delivering services that contribute to achievement of improved health outcomes, and the principles underpinning management of public funds. You are passionate about reducing inequalities in health, improving Māori health and population health outcomes. The role of Senior Performance Management Analyst is multifaceted and requires that you draw on your multitude of skills including: your excellent interpersonal skills, clear and articulate communication skills; sound analytical skills, knowledge and experience in public health and negotiating and managing complex service contracts.
