We are on the look out for a talented, innovative and committed individual who is passionate about using their specialist, project management and desktop training expertise. You will be customer-focused with a proactive can-do attitude and enjoy working on projects. As the Training and Education Services Advisor, you will help identify and give advice on training needs for users of IT focused project and tools. You will be competent in the development and delivery of training packages.

You will be an experienced user of training methodologies and adult training techniques including proven work experience in a project management environment, proficient in using the MS productivity toolset and Lotus Notes (desirable). You work well under pressure and have the flexibility to manage a varied work load.

Relationships are important to you – you will be able to establish rapport and will be confident in working with people at all levels in the Ministry, You will have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal - and an ability to communicate complex technical information in a way a layperson can understand.

This is a full-time position based in Wellington. There is occasional travel involved to regional offices.
