    Whānau Ora is one of the Ministry of Health’s seven priority outcomes. And the role of the Māori Health Policy team is to provide high quality advice on leadership to support the health sector to ensure positive outcomes for Māori.

    The Māori Health Policy team is seeking a new team member to continue our work with health providers that are Māori owned and Māori governed and to support joint projects with the Māori health research team.

    As a successful applicant, you will demonstrate an interest in improving outcomes for Maori through the health and disability system. You will be looking for new opportunities in policy development and have an understanding of government processes. You will have excellent written communication skills and the ability to structure an argument in a clear and logical way. You will also be able to meet deadlines and demonstrate strong relationship management skills. A relevant tertiary qualification is also essential and an understanding of the New Zealand health and disability sector is desirable.

    This is a full time permanent position located in Wellington.
