Advisor Planning & Reporting

Health & Disability National Services Directorate

This is an opportunity to contribute to the Ministry’s role in promoting and protecting the health of New Zealanders. While tasks include administrative responsibilities, the Advisor Planning and Reporting will be a member of the Public Health Group’s new management team, providing quality planning, reporting and analytical support. The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience and/or knowledge of managing and co-ordinating business planning and accountability processes in a large organisation.
  • Knowledge of Government planning and reporting cycles.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
  • Proven experience and skill in developing, enhancing and maintaining high quality internal and external working relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
The position is permanent and full-time and based in Auckland or Wellington.
