About the Ministry of Health website

RSS News feeds

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication', and is a way of getting updates about information you're interested in (e.g. Ministry of Health media releases) without having to regularly check the Ministry of Health website. Instead, you use news reader software that regularly checks the Ministry's news feed(s) for you to see if there are any news updates. It displays the updates as a list of links to the website so you can select what updates you want to view. Using news reader software you can subscribe to as many RSS news feeds on as many sites as you like.

More information on how to subscribe to and use RSS feeds using news reader software can be found on the BBC news website.

The Ministry of Health supplies the following news feeds:*

  • What's New - latest publications
  • Media releases
  • Consultation
  • All news feeds
*If you dont have an rss reader built into your web browser you will see a page of xml code. To add the feed to you chosen rss reader you will need to copy and paste the url of the xml page into your reader
